On this rainy evening commute home, I was lucky enough to watch a heartfelt NYC MTA moment on the A train. Watched a man in need walking through the car barefoot, asking for any socks or shoes. The young man sitting across from me, without hesitation, took his sneakers off and handed them to the man without flinching. The young man put his work shoes on and didn’t even seem phased. Another passenger gave up her seat on the crowded train so he could sit and put the sneakers on. The man in need was able to walk off the train proud with Nike’s on his feet and everyone who was lucky enough to see it, went home with a warm heart. man gives up shoes to homeless man next to him
