Karly's house is 58 degrees and extremely cold. She walks into her parents room and complains about how cold it is. Her dad is wearing a beanie and various blankets and jackets as well. He says dont blame him and talks to the mom. The mom is sitting and laying in bed and seems unamused. Her mom does feel cold and tells the dad and Karly to deal with it.
