I took a timelapse of this phenomenon called Noctilucent clouds and is extremely rare. I took these timelapse around 2 years ago during the summer but didn't know what I got on film until I started my master's in aerospace engineering where my professor had an introduction lecture about the atmosphere. These clouds usually appear on clear, summer nights and are about 80km (50 miles) up in the sky. I thought this was a very cool clip even though the quality isn't the best and wanted to shares this with you.
