Grace was studying abroad in 2018 and her and her boyfriend met in college but she did a semester abroad and they were apart for 3 months. She knew she always wanted to do a surprise return. Sam plays football in Atchison, Kansas and had a game that day. After the game all of his roommates families came back to their place where Grace came home and stood at the door and came over to surprise her boyfriend.
