Guy got an ear infection that ended up temporarily paralyzing half of his face. Since the nerves to the eyelids and the nerves to the eyes are very separated, only his eyelid got paralyzed. He tries to close both eyes but one eyelid refuses to close, making his eyeball look up as they normally do when we close our eyes.
