On April 17th 2021, A rare event took place when the moon passed in front of the planet Mars, as viewed from some countries in southeast Asia. This is known as an occultation. I was able to capture the reappearance of Mars from behind the moon at 7:11pm local time, using my 8 inch telescope and planetary camera.
