My city is right in between two other cities that regularly get storms in the summer. And so you can watch them go north or south of us without getting wet or struck by lightning haha. Lake Michigan causes these storms in the summer and in the winter it causes Lake effect snow. Pretty great place if you like filming storms like I do. Usually I will drive to one of the many inland lakes around here to get an extra good view of the passing storms. It's incredible when you can catch them rolling in from lake Michigan. But I digress. Just an awesome clip of a lightning strike I got a few days ago from the balcony of my apartment.
