Last year in June 2021 I flew from California to New York to surprise my mom. She was having a hard time from my dad being sick with lung cancer. He passed away in September 2021 from his lung cancer that stemmed from being an unsung hero of 9/11. He unfortunately had toxic exposure from working sanitation as the 9/11 cleanup materials were sent to the barge where he worked
