I am the one in the hat snapping the sinks on. Me and my friends were volunteering for a robotics tournament and they gave us high-vis vests, turns out that they can activate sinks at a distance due to the reflective material. The video seems weird because the snapping is close to the fountain, but that was only because we had just figured out how it worked and we only did one take, eventually we got it to work from around 6 feet, for proof you can try it yourself, snapping at that distance wont activate it, high vis will. I dont want any money or credit from the video, it was done all for fun, but if you do include this in a video I would request that you pin a comment I write giving a more detailed explanation of the video and why it might look fishy.
