Thumbelina the rat has a pituitary tumor. She has lost the use of her front paws so she cannot hold normal rat food and eat it. She was losing weight so I have put her on a soft food diet so she won't starve until she regains use of her front paws. She is on a medicine called cabergoline to shrink the tumor. She is eating peach oatmeal and mashed potatoes here.
