Another dive in 2016 with my father. This is a Dive on the SS Thistlegorm Wreck on the 4th June 2016. The SS Thistlegorm was a British armed Merchant Navy ship built in 1940 by Joseph Thompson & Son in Sunderland, England. She was sunk on 6 October 1941 near Ras Muhammad in the Red Sea and is now a well known diving site. She was a lost Wreck from WW2 and was rediscovered by Jacques Cousteau in 1955 but was keep a secrect for maybe years. only in the 1990's did other divers find the wreck. I was told by one of the dive leaders that it was known to have more visitors to it than the pyramids. Dont know how true that is but sounds cool. Me and my father really want to go back to this site as its one of our favorate to visit.
