Collab PubityPets - Refugees with their things on their car

The ethnic population of Nagorno-Karabakh is fleeing their homeland due to extensive shelling by Azerbaijan. On September 19, Azerbaijan initiated an "anti-terrorism operation" in Nagorno-Karabakh. The relentless shelling of civilian infrastructure began after a 10-month-long complete blockade, leaving the population without adequate supplies of food, medication, hygiene necessities, and fuel. Some residents of villages, which were the initial targets, have reported massacres, with a disturbing focus on young preschool children. Those who managed to escape also report that the villages have been cut off from electricity. The inability to communicate with the outside world has created a communication blackout, and to this day, it remains unknown what exactly transpired in those villages. As people flee the region, long queues have formed on the road to Armenia. The typical journey on the road connecting NKR and Armenia, which usually takes approximately 2 hours, can now take up to 72 hours. People find themselves sleeping in their cars without access to sufficient water or food.
