At Messiah University in Grantham, PA there is a tradition that when the Messiah Falcons play Elizabethtown University Blue Jays in division III soccer everyone brings marshmallows and throws them at each other. It is called the Marshmallow Bowl. In the past campus security has tried to ban marshmallows and set up check points to search people. Now they have given up and allow it to happen
