Rare rainbow clouds appeared above the north of Scotland this morning. Also known as Nacreous, Mother of Pearl, or Polar Stratospheric clouds. The strange phenomenon is caused by high arctic clouds that contain tiny ice crystals that refract the sunlight. Birds flying on the sky with nacreous clouds in slow motion.
