I'm from Italy. Recently went on a one month trip to Vietnam. Now, idk why, but they (girls especially) seem obsessed with social media in a way that makes me feel the western world almost isn't. This is the first of three clips all taken in the same day in the same city but we saw scenes like this in every city, at any given moment, for a month. According to my wife whose of Vietnamese descent this could be due to the lunar new year's which is in a few days and in Asia is common to do related posts the same way people here do it for new years. This still isn't enough to explain the staggering amount of people doing it, especially with professional photographers and videographers. Seeing girls in traditional Ao Dai dresses was a sight for the eyes at least.
