his lanyard got stuck in the door. My dad was leaving for work this morning and this happened. Man leaving for work and had his lanyard gets stuck on the door, he tries to pull it but it wouldnt budge, so instead of unlocking the door again, he just unclips it and left the lanyard stuck on the door and leaves.
