I've heard about the existence of what people refer to as influencers; however, I hadn't spotted one in the wild. I was about to go for lunch when I noticed something jumping next to a busy road. I first thought that it was a bunny or a kid.... But no, right before me, I witnessed an influencer for the first time. We made eye contact, and I could see his desperation of being unable to stop even though he was embarrassed. I stopped recording because he was approaching the intersection, and I didn't want my video to become full gore. Although short, this video is just a classic example of natural selection in progress.
