A beluga whale scares the children on the other side of the aquarium glass. Jaisai Pranav Yannam, a 21-year-old exchange student in Taiwan, captures a memorable moment at the National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium from June 22, 2024. Jaisai was intrigued to see a beluga whale playfully interacting with children, which appeared to surprise and delight them. Although he had perhaps seen similar behavior on YouTube, this was his first time witnessing it in person. Jaisai visited the aquarium alone and was exploring it for the first time. The children did not say anything about the encounter afterward.
