Recently I noticed the back door kept being left open at random times during the day and night, so I setup a camera to see how it was happening and discovered one of our cats learned how to jump up and press on the latch to open the door. We live in the woods and leave the doors unlocked most of the time, but it's funny the cat started doing that instead of going around the other side.
