    This is a video I recorded from 2018, at a Roger Waters concert, during the Comfortably Numb performance. At 2 minutes and 19 seconds of the video, a lightning strike happened perfectly in sync with the drums/guitar of the solo, followed by everyone amazed/cheering. I never saw any mention of this but I really think this is amazing and more people deserve to watch it, although maybe you have to like the song to understand the feeling. Not sure if this clip can be posted because of copyright reasons, but I thought its worth the shot. Another fun fact about this day: This same storm made the headlines because one of the lightning strikes got the record for the longest one ever recorded, about 440 miles. Though it has already been broken recently, its still pretty impressive. You can look it up by searching longest lightning strike southern brazil on Google. (Although the video was on the 30th, it was already past midnight on the UTC time, and the record is on the 31st).

    Possible drone signing over Brooklyn (viewed from Manhattan east side) Five objects have been in the sky for at least the past 15 mins or so, hovering slowly and making various formations. Some have been fading in and out of sight, and at least one appeared to have a fixed wing as two other marker lights were spotted on the sides If it is a civilian drone show, they are very very large as they appear to be between 1.5 to 2 miles away from my viewpoint, and that would make them about the size of a helicopter However their flight characteristics are nothing like any helicopter I’ve seen

    Ocean Grove, known as God’s Square Mile on the Jersey Shore is entirely owned by the church. Today as a thunderstorm moved in putting a damper on most people’s day, these two content creators were not deterred. The woman being recorded was clearly far along and in pregnancy. Beyond this short clip they had spent a good half hour shooting various poses and backdrops. You can see the ominous clouds, whipping flags, and emergency vehicles throughout the clip.

    Me, my mom, my dad, and both of my sisters stopped to eat at McDonald’s one day and when we were leaving my Middle sister noticed that my Oldest sister was still in the bathroom when my dad started to back out of the parking spot. So, my Middle sister looks at me and points to my Oldest sisters seat, I see that its empty and she tells me to shhh so we both start laughing so hard because at this point my dad was pulling out of McDonald’s so then my parents obviously hear us trying to laugh so quietly and my middle sister looks at me and is laughing so hard she can barely talk to tell me to distract them and that’s when I start saying something about crackheads and we lost it even more and that’s when my mom looked back and noticed that they did in fact forget her about 2 miles back at McDonald’s, hahaha! She was so annoyed with us the whole way home because none of us could even breath from laughing so hard but once we showed her the video she couldn’t stop laughing either and now it’s one of the best memories that my family and I all laugh about together!

    Bryce and I are training for across country hike. He picked up a stick at the beginning of our walk, and carried it for 14 miles. It made so many people day, and everybody had something to say about it. Vanessa Keating, a 32-year-old seasonal camp host, and her six-year-old companion Bryce (affectionately known as Beeboo), were hiking on the coastal trail in Anchorage, Alaska, on July 9th, 2024. Bryce has a passion for collecting anything he can carry, such as sticks, leaves, stuffed animals, and especially balls. He always finds treasures during their hikes and insists on bringing them home. His enthusiastic collecting often draws comments from strangers, who always end up smiling or laughing at his antics. On this particular day, they hiked an impressive 14 miles, with Bryce carrying a stick he found along the way. Vanessa's phone died halfway through the hike, but the memory of the adventure remains vivid. They are cross-country hikers, currently training for their next 2,000-mile journey, and Bryce loves his "big walks"!
