My mother loves to spend Halloween passing out candy to kids but this year she waited out 3 hours for children to come and not a single one showed up. The kids spent over 30 minutes accompanying her and listening to her stories. My mother has stage 4 cancer and the children were cheering her on and saying I hope you beat cancer! They even asked if they could call her grandma and said they would stop by from time to time now.
