Looked out my porch and saw 4 young nine-banded armadillo. Turns out they always have litters of identical quadruplets. A single fertilized egg splits into four identical embryos that can be either all male or all female. I went down to film them up close, they have terrible vision so this was relatively easy to do. During that one of them dug up an earthworm. I could tell the dillo was looking for it so I decided to try and feed it to the armadillo. As you can see it grabbed the worm from me with ferocity once it was able to smell it. Guy gives baby armadillo a worm he found in the grass. Armadillo jumps and grabs the worm from him.
