This was an avalanche set off by the Colorado Department of Transportation to mitigate the risk of it sliding on its own and make the area safe to be in. the explosives used to set it off were thrown from a helicopter. The size rating of it is unknown as there was no official report from the CAIC on it. Guy watches an avalanche of snow go down the mountain.
