Filmed on May 25 at 9:30 PM, the footage shows Megan's reaction to an iguana riding the subway with a boogie board as its "vehicle." Megan was astonished to see an iguana on the same commute and wondered how it ended up with such an unusual ride. The iguana and its owner boarded the train at Franklin, and Megan got off just two stops later. She hasn’t seen the iguana again, but a week later, she did spot a woman with a snake draped around her shoulders—perhaps they know each other. Megan did not approach the iguana's owner, as New Yorkers typically avoid interacting with each other on the subway, and the iguana didn’t appear to speak any English.
