    Butterfly exhibit. Some species of butterfly eat rotten fruit. Woman at a butterfly exhibit, and there is this one section where there is a sign that says some species of butterfly eat rotten fruit, and one butterfly is on a rotten banana eating it, and a kid can be heard in the background cursing in amusement on what he is seeing saying oh shit this is fucking cool

    This woman attempted to take selfies at this station for several minutes. Her children were waiting. Many children (not hers’) we’re waiting. She framed a shot from the side for her partner and when that wasn’t working she instructed him to try the shot from between her legs. It lasted minutes. She then dominated every exhibit station to follow with similar selfie antics. At one point I overheard them arguing about it but she just kept right on going. It was the best part of the trip. I call it “Wind Beneath My Wings”
