A chemistry experiment gone wrong in my 10th grade. Filmed in 2019. No one was harmed and fire was put out right after (Note: Edit was made later on after filming. I no longer have the pre-edit version.)
I was in a chemistry class at Bethel University and my professor loved doing weekly demonstrations for us. He wanted to see the connection between what we observe with our eyes and what is happening at a nuclear level. In this clip, he caused a chemical reaction between aluminum, iron III oxide, and magnesium, causing a pretty cool explosion!
We testing this out in chemistry class, is kinda fun and nobody get hurt
I filmed a chemistry experiment that was conducted in my chemistry class. The experiment consisted of table salt, water, some random metal, and fire causing it to explode. This experiment was safely done by a professional and no one was harmed in the video. It’s an interesting video because me personally I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it before- it’s cool and definitely gave my class a good time !
My Chemistry teacher did a demo to show us how plasma is created, by putting a lit match in the microwave. Warning: do not try this at home!! This carries a great risk of harming your microwave.
General Chemistry professor demonstrating to her students that a glass of lemon lime gatorade thats supposed to have electrolytes should be able to conduct electricity, then proceeds to dip the wire of the light bulb and it gave off light
Submitter in university chemistry class have camera on record for reference when suddenly a man walks in class from outside through door then starts to sing, interrupting the lecture. The professor then confronts him calmy then he walks out of the class, prompting the students to clap for him which they did
the only way to pass chemistry Submitter records its confused cat sits still between circle of books with lit candles on glasses inside dark bedroom
Small grey cat hyper and energetic running around bed girl laughs
Guy in black shirt cooks on a pan and opens chemistry book. Text says me learning how to make plan b because the government play too much.
Slow motion video of a teacher holding red cup with bubbles overflowing on the desk and then she light it on fire for demonstration.
Professor performs a chemistry experiment where she shows off a chemical reaction that turns one liquid completely black
Guy feeds his friends pumpkin candy after they get a chemistry question correct.
Two image of bicycle with motorcycle engine then cuts to guy wearing black shirt riding the motorbike across the yard.
Music. Guy wearing glasses is laying in bed doing a virtual lab for chemistry on his macbook laptop. The virtual lab partner brenda gets hurt in an explosion.
I’m a lab aid for General Chemistry and at the end of lab, this two girl students filmed a dance for TikTok. Girls are wearing white lab coat and glasses, with phone camera on an equipment.
Guy mixes baking soda and vinegar in the measuring cup. He pours it on the lit green candle and the flame goes out.
I ended 2020 with a chemical reaction called, iodine clock reaction. Guy stirs the liquid in the glass beaker while the laptop screen displays the time. The clear liquid turns black when the new year starts. Day time, chemistry, chemical reaction, iodine clock.
I put some rusty coins in concentrated hydrogen peroxide. Glass jar on the white shelf is bubbling. White steam or smoke comes out of the jar. Day time, brown liquid, chemical reaction, chemistry, books.
Guy drops a white egg into the plastic jug container full of water. The egg sinks. He adds salt and mixes it into the water. The egg floats. Day time, science, experiment, chemistry.
Music. I turned wine to water through a chemical reaction called Fischer-esterification. Guy makes water from wine. He adds the wine into a flask and distills it multiple times. Science, chemistry, chemical reaction, alcohol, white gloves.
Music. Guy mixes chemicals, acid with egg shells to create a hard brick. Chemistry, science, lab, experiment, flask, sulfate, cookie cutter round ring mold, white glove.
Guy mixes chemicals up to make a pink homemade glowstick in a bottle jar. Chemsitry, experiment, science, white gloves, wood table. I made my own glowstick. By mixing the following chemicals you get a mixture which can glow up to several hours. Solution 1: TCPO, sodium acetate and a fluorescent dye (Rhodamine B in this case) in diethyl phthalate. Solution 2: Hydrogen peroxide. These are the exact chemicals which are used in commercial glowsticks. By changing the fluorescent dye you get different colors.
An example of fluorescence!Fluorescence is the ability of substances to glow under UV light, which results into spectacular clibs! This one also changes its color from blue to yellow to orange!
Two awesome chemical experiments combined! Here you can see the well know Elephant's Toothpaste but with a little feature. For those who don't know, Elephant's Toothpaste is an experiment where two solutions (Hydrogenperoxide + Soap and potassium iodide) are combined which then gives you a pile of foam! So what's special about this one? It's glowing bright green under UV light! That's because I added a small amount of Fluoresceine, which is a common fluorescent dye.
