Snails eat lettuce leaf and egg shells
These are two videos put together. Both videos contain giant african land snail babies. First video is of Lissachatina Fulica 4 months old babies eating lettuce leaf.
Second video is of just hatched Archachatina Marginata eating their egg shells as a first source of calcium that they need for growing their shells. The younger the baby snail is, the more transparent their body is, so in both these videos you can clearly see how the food (the lettuce and egg shells) are going in their mouth and through their head part down the rest of their body.
