Church mosaic window with a depiction and face of Adolf Hitler

I stopped at this church during a motorbike tour across France. I was surprised, especially as a German, by the depiction of Hitler on one of the very colourful mosaic windows. Afterwards I found less information about the church and this window, just one article on German Wikipedia gives some information about it.
