I filmed the 2025 Zurich new year firework show above the clouds with my drone. Zurich had a heavy fog during the New Year’s Eve. Not many people were fortunate enough to see how beautiful it was above the clouds.
On New Year's night, Belgrade was covered in clouds, but the firework show were not canceled. I launched the drone on 500 meters. Height of the clouds was 280 meters. People on the streets mostly saw only flashes of the light in the fog.

This Air New Zealand ATR took off from Kerikeri and I recorded it on my iPhone 14. The propellers appear to be not moving because of the frame rate.
Normally we don't get aurora in Germany, but yesterday the forecast was good for it, so I got my camera out for a Timelapse! First picture 10:37 PM, last picture 11:20 PM, so around 40min of aurora compressed to 12s.
This video was just prior to take off from Puerto Escondido, Mexico. The difference in temperature and high humidity caused a cloud effect inside the airplane.
The clip shows a pink colored sky which was caused by the lights from greenhouses in the Westland region. The pink lights is used for the health of plants because it can be absorbed better.
Some kind of optical effect with sunlight similar to a rainbow, mixed with the shadow of the plane on the clouds, and on top of that, with the moon in the background
This was super cool, the colors were more vivid in real life. It lasted for like half an hour or more.
