    Finishing up family portrait of couple and cats. Story from OP: I’ve been working on this family portrait for 1.5 years and I finally finished it! It was challenging for me because of the dramatic lighting and it is the largest oil painting I’ve ever done. It features me and my husband and our six cats. One of my favorite things in this painting is the little bird in the background. She was an abandoned baby bird that my husband and I nursed, raised, and released. She was a part of our family too.
