The humans were always tapping it, but I didn’t understand what it was for. A scratch pad? I was a cat—I could scratch anything. The couch, the curtains, the rug… but this? It was different. Today, curiosity got the better of me. My claws itched, and I stretched, sinking them into the fibers. The texture felt perfect, like something I was meant to claw.     In another video about how to make a steel pan non-stick there was a tip to check if the pan was hot enough. You should pour a little water in the pan, and if it spreads out in small bubbles instead of boiling on the spot, the pan is perfectly warm. The reason is that small bubbles form underneath the water, which lets the bubbles "float" across the the pan. But this time the water did not spread into small bubbles, but instead stayed in one larger bubble. That bubble then slid across the pan for a long long time with almost no resistance. To me and my sons great amusement. Thanks for all your great content! It is a family favourite, and often used as a "prize" for good behaviour, or after hard hockey-practice. I was working from home that day and let Winnie out to play in the garden whilst I had a 15 minute work call in my upstairs office. 15 minutes later I finished my call, looked out the window and to my surprise the heavens had opened, so I went downstairs to find poor Winnie drenched! I had taken the video to send to my partner. She got plenty of cuddles afterwards to make it up to her. My dog Winnie is a 10 month old sprocker spaniel (mix between a springer spaniel and cocker spaniel). Her favourite hobbies are stick collecting, puddle finding and Chairwoman of the Zoomies Society.
