It was a flock of starlings that, I think, looked pretty impressive ! At least my friends liked it so I thought you might as well. They usually stay for a few weeks in my city (Brest, one of the cities in Europe - at least in France - most to the West) before they begin their migration.

Weather conditions were extremely cold and water flowing over a layer of ice had formed a cool pattern on this window as we were passing through the clouds! This pattern went on for about half of the flight, as eventually most windows had completely frozen over .
