  7. Sound Waves levitates a small foam with speakers00:27

Sound Waves levitates a small foam with speakers

*Overview of the video* This is an acoustic portable levitation device I made that uses ultrasonic transducers (speakers) producing 40khz to levitate objects. Since it is above the human hearing, I am not able to hear it in person. However, some microphones can pick up some sound. That's the sound you hear in the video. I also do not feel anything. It can't hold heavy objects. The particles I am using are pieces of foam for now, but it looks awesome! *Explanation of how it works* The transducer arrays are split into 4 sections with different phases. The Arduino Nano sends out 40khz to the arrays and the transducers are amplified by the motor driver. The buttons can move the particle up/down and re-center by changing the phases. This turns it into a "Tractor Beam". The device is ran by 2 18650 batteries. *Extra* This project and video is made by me (David's Workshop). If you decide to feature this video, please email me if you need extra footage. The video I uploaded has multiple clips of the same project, because those were the best clips that went viral on my TikTok, but the video clips are all raw.

  8. Phone inside microwave door block wifi signals00:38

Phone inside microwave door block wifi signals

As microwaves use the same radiation frequency as most WiFi networks, the door blocks them. So as you can see, if I close the door, all the WiFi networks disappear except the one which is flagged with 5Ghz, a newer frequency with smaller range, but stronger waves. If I open the door, all the networks appear again

Guy makes small balls levitate with sound

Me and my friend basically found out by using certain frequency of sounds with tiny speakers you can use it to levitate small objects, as you can see in the clip there are small speakers on top and bottom and when playing audio at a certain frequency that will happen. Small white balls levitate float in the air from the sound frequency waves. Science, day time, indoors, black poster board background.
