A man is seen laying in the middle of the street
This video was taken at 1:32pm on Thursday, 3/10/22 and shows a man laying down in the middle of the street on Washington Square South and Thompson St in Greenwich Village. He has been laying on the street for several minutes for an unknown reason. Cars and people go around him while still laying on the street. At the 50 second mark, an NYU Campus Safety Officer stops on the street to Ofer the man laying down assistance. Then the officer leaves. At the 1:36 mark, a car is seen speeding toward the man laying down in the street in order to scare him to move. The man laying down flinches but doesn’t get up. Then, at the 2:29 mark, a passerby stops to talk to the man laying down on the street. The passerby then lifts up the man from the street 21 seconds later and they continue to talk on the side walk. What a nice man! If the video is too long to post on IG, then you can cut it into parts around the main highlights at the specified times mentioned above.
