I enjoy taking pictures and filming wildlife as I am currently studying biology in school. I stumbled upon this mantis (in the genus Tenodera, likely a narrow-winged mantis) and was super excited because I’ve never seen one in the wild before. In the video, it jumps at me and lands on my head, which gave me a bit of a scare!

Lady Gives Pet Dog New Ball as Christmas Gift

My dog's favorite ball finally ripped... Submitter gives its pet dog a present for Christmas and drags the gift away with it. Dog then started to rip it open from wrapper to its box until it gets its new ball out. Submitter then kicks it away from outside house into the thick snow then pet dog fetches it

I saw this pipe while I was on road trip in texas I don't exactly know what it was because I've never seen anything like it before but I thought it was really cool.

Small ant cleans itself after owner saved it

I saved this ant from drowning. After a while i notice it cleaning and grooming itself. I’ve never seen an ant do this 😂

Not the name of the phenomenon but it's the sky looking like a Microsoft paint gone bad, I've never seen a video of shadow given by the clouds in the sky like this before.

I was taking photos in an industrial area when a massive flock of birds flew over and all sat in a line along the bridge before taking off again. I was just intending to film myself taking the photos. I've never seen something like this before. I'm from Newcastle, Australia

Drone shots of empty streets in Los Angeles. Landmarks include city skyline at night, Chinatown, empty freeways, Hardrock Cafe, Melrose, and Santa Monica Pier. I wanted to document a part of history. The current situation with the Covid-19 virus has led to nations taking never before seen measures. To document Los Angeles, my city, in isolation seemed to be a life time opportunity for me. More importantly I wanted to convey a message of optimism for the people, reassuring that we are all doing our part to stop the spreading of the virus.
