Aerial drone view of the Teddington Lock on River Thames Part 2
This is the second clip that I'm submitting, which is a different angle of the same subject.
This clip is an angled drone view of the weir (roller sluices and radial/flap gates) in Teddington Lock, on the River Thames. These sluices and radial flap gates control water flowing through them, and help keep the elevation steady in different parts of the river. Peak flow is typically 54.5 billion litres a day, or 12 billion gallons a day.
The clip is 36 seconds long, but please feel free to edit it as needed. The drone's flight path was straight and level, ensuring stability so that you can speed the footage up if needed.
In the first few seconds of the video, the drone captures a bird in flight, which shows a key element of wildlife blending in with something beautiful humans have built.
