My brother-in-law from out of town was visiting and my cat approached him thinking it was her dad because he looks extraordinarily similar to my husband. They have strong Sicilian genes so she had good facial recognition of him and his body looked like her dad’s… But something was definitely off. She approached him thinking it was her dad, but there were major trust issues lol. He also smokes camel crushes, and her dad absolutely does not so the scent probably threw her off too lol.
