We were getting the oil changed and all they had left to do was clean the windshield. I had never seen anyone clean it so smoothly. It was satisfying to watch. I had to get it on video.

Just before christmas in Norway, there was a beautiful mother of pearl-clouds phenomenon one night! These are pretty rare, and I´ve never seen them as bright as this! So i went ahead and recorded a timelapse of the sunset with the dramatic and colorful clouds, it was really beautiful <3

Kelsey joined her first day of zoom class. She is a 5th year Graphic Design major and they were halfway through their 3-hour capstone studio. She was fidgeting with the view options in zoom to see the whole class at once and stumbled upon Together Mode. She turned on her camera and turned it off a few times to take selfies and then decided to make a tiktok. She realized she could change the seats and the scene and was excited. She tried out different backgrounds and then realized that it changes everyone elses too. She is never going back to class.

I usually never post such things because that’s just not my thing but what I saw today shocked me. I was on the train coming from class and the guy with the guy with the black coat comes into the cart screaming at another passenger looking for a fight. The passenger changes carts and the guy with the black coat goes to that same cart to continue. He comes back to the cart that I’m in and starts an argument with the guy in the jeans jacket. (this guy is also in the same evening class with me) What shocked me was how calm and collected the young boy was. He could’ve gotten up and beat this man to a pulp. DO YA SEE HOW CLOSE HE WAS GETTING TO HIM?! This boy coulda whooped his a** but he literally used his words to shut this man up. Turns out the man was just having a bad day and taking his anger out on everyone else. #tbt When i used to risk life and limb everyday to keep the people of NYC moving. Imagine coming into work and doing this... every. single. day. Said I wasnt gonna go on a rant but since im never going back to MTA ill open my mouth. Worked here for almost 4 years and i probably completely halted train traffic maybe 2 or 3 times to perform work. Every minute counts right? Track workers put their life at risk working between live train traffic and energized third rails... only slowing them down as they approach us.. in snow storms feeling around with a stick so we dont walk into a live third rail. Walking and crossing elevated tracks which you can easily fall through.. trying to maintain an old failing infastructure which caused a fellow coworker ( 23 year old kid ) to die. Theres no reason why we should be working on structures with rotting wood beneath our feet.. broken handrails .. and all types of avoidable hazards that are due to poor maintenance. Then ontop of that when we get hurt or killed the worker is ALWAYS at fault. No funeral bells.. no recognition.. no ceremony .. no respect .. instead you have #bloomberg calling us "thugs" when we want a raise and turn the public against the workers instead of the real problem which is management and the politicians. #DEBLASIO wya? #CUOMO wya? We need change.
