Potato bugs collected placed in the bucket
I work on an organic farm, and every year we have a huge colorado potato bug (Leptinotarsa decemlineata) outbreak. Because in organic farming, pesticides are a no-go, we have to collect the bugs and their larvae by hand or machine. This results in a lot of bugs and larvae which are then collected in a bucket and properly disposed of. The larvae are very active and fast, so this results in this nasty mess of insects.
