00:08Black dog tries to cross over poles
These are Newfoundland dogs, they are known for their swimming abilities.. not their agility abilities but my Newfoundland Elsie decided she’d bulldoze the poles instead of trying to jump them. Newfoundlands were bred as working dogs, they are amazing swimmers and are still used to this day in some places as water rescue dogs! They are absolute gentle giants. The big Newfoundland is called Elsie, 2 years old. The younger one is called Osa, 5 months old. This was filmed at our local secure dog field in Morayshire in Scotland.
