Was walking on Bleeker street in NYC and saw this glass windowed truck with musicians inside, playing music on a very cold Friday, on my way to the one man show of a friend at Pangea. There were many folks standing on the sidewalk, listening to the tunes. I’m sure it was great for the musicians to be inside a cozy truck since it was seriously cold outside. I’m a NY’er so, seeing street musicians is always great.

I was going by F train to Coney Island and saw a wonderful musician who played on archa. He was very polite and talked to everyone and answered all questions on the music instrument. Finally, I took a photo with the archa and it was amazing!
I saw some cows on the side of the road as I was traveling back from North Carolina back home to Nashville, Tennessee. The musician in me saw an opportunity, and I took it. Man stopped on the side of the road to play his melodica for his herd of cow audience, and he plays isnt she lovely by stevie wonder
On my way home, I came across a band rocking out in the subway station, so I stopped and watched for over 20 minutes. Everyone—kids, seniors, other musicians, even homeless folk—was dancing along. This is the perfect proof of why I love New York.
