Ground collapses from mudslide
Dima Hasao district in particular is facing the worst natural havoc currently. Yet, nor the state or the center seems to acknowledge the intensity and gravity of the situation. Roads and bridges are being washed away, paddy and crops destroyed , schools galloped by sliding hills, shelters being destroyed, electricity and internet connections being hampered severely. And to top it off, now images of even a train almost capsized is coming to the picture. Lives were lost, transportation are all blocked, food crisis and were still neglected.
