During a field training exercise, a strong sandstorm and this huge dust devil almost wiped out our entire area. Fortunately nobody was hurt, and nothing was lost(Please don’t include this clip’s audio) Jesse Trias, a 23-year-old enlisted member of the Army National Guard, captures a dramatic sandstorm during their Annual Training event at Pohakulea Training Area in Hawaii. The footage shows a dust devil that occurred as part of their field training while camping out in the area. The sandstorm lasted around an hour and impacted the whole region. Fortunately, the dust devil didn’t pass through their tents, and everyone remained safe. This was Jesse’s first time witnessing such an event, and luckily, no one was injured, nor was any important equipment lost.

Kaitlin Kerby was out in the water swimming when she could not believe what occurred in front of her eyes. As she got closer the water started to get clear and she noticed a school of dolphins in front of her. All of them swam by and under her. She did not swim to the dolphins or chase them so this happened out of coincidence! An insane moment for her. Kaitlin Kerby, a 23-year-old marketing professional from Honolulu, captured this footage in Hawaii. Despite not being on vacation, Kaitlin experienced a moment of pure joy when she encountered a pod of dolphins while diving. Though unsure of the exact species, she believes they were Hawaiian spinner dolphins. Kaitlin, who has been diving for four years, was thrilled to see a pod of dolphins underwater for the first time, making this a truly unforgettable experience.

I was just filming my daughter and Bullmastiff playing in the snow. At about the 22 second mark I suddenly heard what sounded like thunder and it lasted for more than 30 seconds but I thought you couldn’t have thunder during a snowstorm. It obviously startled my dog as well! Evidently thunder snow is a rare phenomenon that occurs in 0.07% of snowstorms! Thanks for entertaining my family with your clips over the years! 😊

I apologise if it’s not completely visible, but it is footage of some very colourful clouds. I haven’t seen before I looked it up and apparently they’re known as nacreous clouds, which occur in colder climates during sun set and rise.

I recorded this video while snowboarding in the Austrian Alps. The phenomenon you can see in the video is called an inversed weather situation. This occurs on very cold winter days when cold air accumulates in the valley in the morning. As the air above is warmer, there can be no exchange of air masses. This results in heavy fog formation in the valley and warmer temperatures on the mountains than in the valley.

Crying Gasoline! At 16 seconds in, to the 31, the tears of gasoline are most visible and prominent. This is called the Marangoni Effect and this video I filmed is the ONLY occurrence of this phenomenon on the internet full stop. The effect has been shown in wine, called "wine tears" but never in gasoline. I would postulate that the 10% ethanol that is added to gasoline allows for this effect to occur.
