00:48Parrot bird takes bath and blow dried
This is my beloved Amazon parrot taking a bath. He has been with me a little over 18 years now. He loves taking baths but they he is shivering (it’s normal for parrots to shiver after a bath as they try to regulate their body temperature). I use my blow dryer to help him dry up in a matter of minutes vs a matter of hours. I use the Italian brand BaByliss brow dryer which is Teflon/PTFE or PFOA. It’s important that you don’t use just any regular brow dryer on your pet because the fumes can be toxic and lethal. I don’t blow dry his head. His head gets air dried. I want people to know, if my video is shared, to please do your research before getting a parrot and please adopt one if you can. There are so many parrots abandoned at shelters all over the USA.
