filming from 74th street the fire that happened on 74th street between the park and columbus ave. saw the fire (and called 911) at 4.11 pm, it was out by 4.42 pm, it seemed no casualties, saw firefighters and (i suppose?) tenant on the roof afterwards. you also see the neighbor still on his roof. This family of geese took a bath in a puddle on 3rd street. The goslings arent flying yet. The family decides to go across 3rd Avenue, presumably to get to the canal. A couple of other bystanders and I helped stop the traffic and shoo them across. They safely made it into the Whole Foods park area, and presumably the canal. Good luck to them on that one. My wife and I are visiting Manhattan. While walking down 6th ave towards the MoMa we notice a bike that was chained up and the seat was covered by a swarm of bees. Most people were walking by on the sidewalk and didn’t pay it any attention as it was just another “normal” thing in NY. I posted it to my story with the caption “Nothing to see here, just a bike covered in bees in Midtown during the middle of a work day!”
