This is a video during a huge thunderstorm that came through Mount Morris, NY back in July of 2021. It features me and my dog, Kyle. The main reason I wanted to send this clip in is because Kyle recently passed away, and his ear-piercing barks always echoed through the halls of our house when we there was a thunderstorm. This is a video I recorded from 2018, at a Roger Waters concert, during the Comfortably Numb performance. At 2 minutes and 19 seconds of the video, a lightning strike happened perfectly in sync with the drums/guitar of the solo, followed by everyone amazed/cheering. I never saw any mention of this but I really think this is amazing and more people deserve to watch it, although maybe you have to like the song to understand the feeling. Not sure if this clip can be posted because of copyright reasons, but I thought its worth the shot. Another fun fact about this day: This same storm made the headlines because one of the lightning strikes got the record for the longest one ever recorded, about 440 miles. Though it has already been broken recently, its still pretty impressive. You can look it up by searching longest lightning strike southern brazil on Google. (Although the video was on the 30th, it was already past midnight on the UTC time, and the record is on the 31st).

My cat has been moving his eyes a lot during sleep recently and now I caught him doing that with his eyes almost open so I started recording. All of a sudden he does this really scary spasm!! I very rarely record him and Ive never seen anything like this before so its really weird how I got it on film. I woke him up after to make sure hes ok and he seems completely normal and coherent as seen in the second part of the clip. His name is Helix which you can hear me call him. This happened like an hour ago. The only reason I want credit btw is incase a vet sees the clip and knows whats going on, then they know where to reach me. Couldnt put him in a bed for obvious reasons. Couldnt put him on the floor surrounded by blankets that could suffocate him or objects that could fall on him. He normally sleeps in a pack and play but we didnt have it this time. (Update: I got one to keep at my house now!) 3. Right after this video, he got all happy and excited to be awake with everyone. This is Jasmine (or Jammy) as we all called her. She was the fifth member of the family. We adored her. She came in her travel cage all over the US when we did road trips, had her own spot at the dinner table. She was my favorite part of coming home - she was so loving, curious, and adventurous. She’s the reason I love the color yellow. Jammy passed away on Saturday 2/24, at 4 years old. The world is less bright without her. I wanted her to see the whole world.
