    We recently rescued a baby pangolin whose mother was killed by hunters. We were able to take care of him for a few days before sending him on to an animal sanctuary in Monrovia. In this clip he is drinking Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) and you can see how crazy long his tongue is. In Liberia, this animal is called an "ants bear" because of its diet of ants, and they are heavy hunted for the bush meat trade.

The story behind the baby beaver is that their dam was blown up by the land owner and they had to be rescued after. The baby beavers were a few weeks old when rescued because their mom did not get rescued in time. In this video the little beaver is throwing a fit after it finishes drinking all of its milk and wants more and keeps fighting for the bottle.

    Brown baby sloth lays inside a white blanket holding an orange fluffy toy next to window. During our trip in the Amazon, we went for a day to a rehabilitation center where they are rescuing monkeys from animal traffickings. People kill the mother to take the baby and use them as pets or for touristic purposes. This place has saved more than 800 monkeys and put them back in the wild. A few days ago, they welcomed this baby sloth. It is only 2 months old. They will have to take care of it for the next 3-4 years before releasing it in the wild

    Guy on side of the road finds a poor bird. He gets out and picks up a small grey owl and brings it back to his car and nurses it back to health. It even lets him pet and feeds it. At the end of this all the owl stayed until rehab and animal rescue came to pick it up.

    Porcupine getting hand fed by woman at the vet. IT makes cute squeaking noises as it tries to eat. He doesn't want to hold the piece of food by himself so woman has to help him. Baybee, the porcupine, was found following a woman and her dog over several days every time they would go outside and realized it seems to be orphaned or in distress. Upon intake it was clear that he was very sick with mange, a respiratory infection and a few other issues. (* many people have been worried about the Appleseed in the video containing cyanide which only has a trace amount far too little to do harm and they are frequently ingested in the wild in large quantities with no ill effect)

    Zehra found a wild red-tail hawk standing on the side of the street. It isn't able to fly away and stands there with its wings apart. She calls for help and some animal control people come to try to save it. They leave the cage in front of it and the door slowly closes on it and knocks it over. They finalyl get it into the cage and it's still standing with its wings apart. She got home and got an update and the animal control people think it had West Nile so now the little hawk is in rehab!

    Cassidy is a Marine Mammal Trainer at the Alaska SeaLife Center and works with Taku the seal. She took this video outside of regular training sessions when he was hanging out on his own time in their seal habitat. The Alaska SeaLife Center is a non-profit and the only public aquarium in the State of Alaska located in Seward, Alaska. Taku is one of 4 rings seals that call the Alaska SeaLife Center home. He was rescued at a young age and rehabilitated by the SeaLife Center. He was deemed non-releasable by NOAA and permanently lives at the SeaLife center now where he sees thousands of guests a year. In this video he was floating around in the water with his head poking out of the water.

Angie was unable to dive down in order to eat so she was kept at the rehab. It’s caused by eating pollution. Large brown turtle swimming in the water floats up, cant submerge itself.
