00:27Hotel completely flooded from water pipe burst
I was staying in a hotel and had allot of household items from an estate with me to take on a flight. At 6am I heard an alarm and looked in the hall but saw nothing. Moments later I noticed the carpet was quite wet in front of the door. I opened it and water flooded in like a tidal wave. I had to quickly throw my belongings onto the beds, but allot still got wet. A water pipe had burst in the hotel. The city didn’t show up until 2 hours later to fix it. By the time I got all my stuff out, the water was knee deep (above electrical outlets). It was a total nightmare. The hotel was Super 8 on Victoria Ave East in Regina Saskatchewan Canada.
