I ended up that name because religiously, down the very nanosecond the instant he is out his tank, your man STR8 “GTFOO DODGE” and he’s forever just literally no concept of time face first into walls, box’s, doors, you name it. He’s literally 150 million years of evolution in the palm of your hand. He’s the most chill, intelligent, sweet and sentient but one thing happens when he approaches ANY MIRROR he thinks a magical portal opened and there is an identical looking being in said mirror and his response is full of laughs and gives you a reason to love such a wonderful little creature that will give you the same love and energy you give him or her. But in the video is what transpires when a bearded dragon sees itself in a mirror and its DNA ingrained that it thinks the same looking, acting, moving entity in the mirror is taking over his territory.     Me and my mom adopted a Cockatoo bird who has been abused and locked up in a dark basement all of his life. She has been a animal rescuer all her life and we adopted many other pets who needed a loving home. The birds name is Coco and is becoming more and more happy and loving, he especially wants go everywhere i go and loves to cuddle. He is slowly getting his trust back in people! Little disclaimer: you can see me petting him on te back in this clip, i now am educated and don’t do that anymore! He can get hormonal of that and i didn’t know, he didn’t show any signs luckily and is very happy! If the video is posted i want that as disclaimer so people know i am educated now!

    The STL Zoo has a giant see-through wall where visitors can play with the sea lions, and Mia takes advantage of this whenever somebody catches her eye. I was lucky enough to play with her for well over half an hour at the end of the day (I tried to hand her off to excited kids a couple of times, but she was locked in on me for some reason). Staff saw us playing together after the zoo had closed and just smiled and let her have her fun. She's a great communicator (a little demanding) and very easy to get in a groove with if you're paying attention. I also have a longer clip where I set my phone against a step and you can see us dancing together.

    Hi Daily Dose! Not too sure what to write so I guess I'll just explain the clip. Near my pool there is a large area of tall plants and little tree frogs (I believe their species is Strecker's Chorus Frog) gather there and croak through the night. They're very charming and pretty docile, if you don't make any sudden moves and are gentle. I was filming this video for my friend who has never handled frogs before. Before this clip I'd been handling a wolf snail and a couple tiger slugs, which I adore! (Look up wolf snails, promise you wont regret it.) If I thought I would've submitted this here I would've spoken clearer! Subtitles for the video are: "Can I grab you? Yeah.. I can grab you. Come on up bud.     26. Two baby turtle on the palm of filmers hand

    On June 6th I was driving home from a short hike at my local lake. As I pulled onto my road, and l I was nearing my driveway, i noticed something peculiar. A fairly flattened dead box turtle on the road. I knew for a fact it wasn't there when I left for the lake no more than a couple of hours prior. So I parked my car in my drive and went to examine it. It was a sad sight to see for sure. I even saw all the eggs inside her were crushed beyond saving... Or I thought that was all of them... There was what I thought was just guts at first about a foot away from her... But then I realized they were actually the female's turtles reproductive organs with two eggs still inside. I believed they must've shot out of her when she was ran over, far enough away to be safely away from the tires.. I immediately ran inside, put on my last latex glove, and grabbed a pair of scissors. I then came back out to the scene and cut the eggs free and brought them indoors .. I then proceeded to carefully remove the organ from the eggs with an xacto knife, then wiped them clean gently with a damp paper towel. I grabbed some incubation media, dampened it, and started incubating at 77 f daytime temps give or take. (Sidenote- I had everything on hand that I needed to incubate eggs, as I used to breed and incubate crested and leopard geckos years ago. I'm glad I never got rid of those supplies.) Anyways I really wasn't expecting anything to happen... My hopes definitely weren't through the roof. I knew the odds were low.. But, sure enough, against all odds and after only a few days of incubating, they started "chalking" or turning white from the top downwards. I immediately knew I had healthy, fertile eggs. And I had hope. I decided I'd dig out my old reptibator incubator out of storage since I knew they were viable eggs. I figured that would give them a more controlled environment to develop... I incubated for females at around 85 f and 90% relative humidity..... And two months later they finally hatched. And they're the cutest things I've ever seen.... Two healthy little three toed box turtles. Anyways it really was quite the journey, for them and for me. And I'm still kinda left scratching my head a bit. But man o man am I happy with these little ladies.
