    Mikael Jangentorp, a 35-year-old nurse from Kristinehamn, Sweden, captured this footage in a small forest grove in Kristinehamn on May 11th, 2024. He began building the track on April 3rd and completed it, along with the recording, by May 11th, working on it a few times per week. The track is approximately 80 meters (262 feet) long and was constructed using various materials including a plastic roof painted green to create the rails, straps, ropes, right angles, and 80 meters of Hot Wheels track pieces. Some parts were 3D-printed and custom-made, and tunnels from different BRIO train sets were also used. The idea for this project came to Mikael in January when his 3-year-old son received his first Hot Wheels track set from Mikael's brother. Inspired by the discovery of the Hot Wheels Zoom In car, which can hold a GoPro, Mikael's creativity sparked, leading him to envision and eventually build the track in the forest grove near his home.

    When I was a kid I did have a small collection of hot wheels and I always wanted to make a track complete with some kind of fire as the element. Needless to say it took me 30 plus years to complete this task and secure a victory with the GoPro million dollar challenge. This particular build took quite a bit of trial and it’s fair share of errors but it was all fun either way. The saying “don’t try this at home” might come into play as it does have a way of making things hot, but hot wheels did have a saying which was and is “It’s not the same without the flame”

He has a good start, but then stops due to being startled from all the commotion. He starts to cry and we want to pick him up, but don't want to disqualify him from the race by stepping onto the mats on the floor, which was a rule. He only needs a second though, and finally after one final "warcry", Seth sees his grandma at the finish line and rushes towards her. Seth has now won his qualifying-race and will be moving onto the finale against two other qualifying-race winners. The final race starts and grandma pulls a small soccer ball from behind her back. We purchased Seth a ball during intermission since we could use anything to attract him to the finish line. We let Seth play with the ball for a little bit during intermission, but then I came up with the idea to hide the ball in order to build up Seth's anticipation. This plan worked and Seth bolts towards the finish line when he locks eyes with grandma and the ball. Seth wins 1st Place. I display a picture of Seth's winnings and then of Seth with his First Place Ribbon at the end of the video.
